Stem Cell & Cancer Research led by Prof. Dr. dr. Agung Putra, Msi.Med had a casual discussion with the Minister of State Secretary in Jakarta, Sunday night. The relaxed discussion started after the group was previously accepted by Prof. Pratikno to break their fast together.

The discussion of stem cell developers became the theme of the discussion, the incubation of biotechnology start-ups also did not escape the casual conversation for 3 hours.

Yes.. We hope that research related to stem cells can be supported by the government, especially in this world there is no ‘the winner’, therefore we hope that Indonesia can become a leader in this regard, said Prof. Dr. dr. Agung Putra, Msi.Med. In addition, SCCR also plans to establish universities that are concerned with research as the main pillar in accelerating research towards downstreaming.

A collaborative research approach is needed to make this happen, continued Prof. Dr. Pratikno, M.Soc.Sc, who previously served as rector of UGM

With this meeting, we hope that there will be government support to make Indonesia a leader in the development of stem cell research. This meeting closed with a group photo.
